A little about myself

Hello, my name is Izzie and I’m a teacher. As a child, life took me on an exciting journey to France, where I dove headfirst into a new language and culture. Fast forward 20 years, and I’ve found my passion as a language teacher, helping amazing people learn both English and French all across the globe. It’s been such a rewarding experience, and I can’t wait to connect with you and share more about this incredible journey.

Quick facts about me

1. I received my CELTA teaching qualification in 2018
2. I have taught in the UK, Thailand, France, and South Korea
3. I spent 2 years at the head of the marketing department for an online English school
4. I can’t go a day without a cup of tea
5. I have a dog called Billy, he is a 2 year old Beagle who loves to stare at people
6. I am the president of a brand new kickboxing club 😀

My journey (so far)

My teaching journey kicked off in 2014 when I was just a teenager. It all started with sharing my love for French with my parent’s friends, guiding them through paperwork and making it all a bit more enjoyable. Little did I know, this could blossom into a fulfilling career. Initially, I took a detour and pursued biology in university, earning my degree in 2018. It was during this time that I discovered my true passion for teaching and assisting others. So, I followed my heart, got a teaching qualification in English, and set out to explore the world, sharing knowledge and creating meaningful connections along the way.

Fast forward a few years and Covid struck. With travel plans on hold, I discovered an online opportunity that allowed me to delve into the realms of social media and extend my knowledge to thousands of wonderful individuals online. And here we are today, introducing Frizzie: a venture close to my heart, dedicated to assisting people in making their move to France and helping them achieve a more meaningful life.
